It is with immense sadness that we acknowledge the life and legacy of Matthew Harding, the artist who has so beautifully captured the essence of the friendship between Turkey and Australia following WW1 in his sculpture, Seeds of Friendship, the Australian Turkish Friendship Memorial.

Tragically Matthew died on the 22nd of February 2018. Matthew was a renowned sculptor who has left an extraordinary legacy of work in Australia and around the world.

He was brilliant and one of the most accomplished sculptors in Australia; he was compassionate and had a rare generosity of spirit. Please see  http://www.matthewharding.com.au/ for further information.
